Job Description

Job Requirements:

  • Developing, executing, and ensuring company SOPs are followed throughout assigned sites.
  • Building open and trusting relationships with clients to achieve long-term partnerships and contractual renewals.
  • Monitoring and upholding the cleaning, stewarding, and maintenance quality standards and operating procedures for all job sites to surpass client expectations.
  • Overseeing effective OJT training on equipment, stewarding practices, and skills surrounding the latest implementations (robotics and health policies) to maintain high standards of work.
  • Managing overall staff motivation, discipline, development, and performance according to organizational, human resource, and government manpower policies.
  • Overseeing the assigned job sites according to manpower and site requirements to achieve profitability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Planning manpower deployment at various sites, including cleaning and stewarding teams, to meet the contractual requirements of clients.
  • Supervising and coordinating stewarding operations such as dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, and back-of-house hygiene to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
  • Resolving feedback or complaints from clients promptly and implementing preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
  • Recruiting and interviewing applicants, including stewarding staff, and conducting effective two-way performance reviews.
  • Ensuring that all related Workplace Safety & Health requirements are met, and that monthly updates on Toolbox Meeting Records, Staff Induction Records, and other safety documentation are submitted accordingly.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong management, planning, compliance, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Tactful and discreet when dealing with people and confidential information.
  • Leadership and motivational skills to rally people toward goal achievement.
  • Ability to work well within the organization and interact effectively with all levels.
  • Experience in stewarding operations, including kitchen hygiene management, dishwashing operations, and coordination of back-of-house cleaning activities, will be an advantage.
