Operations Manager

We are an offshore Wholesales Bank seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee key operational functions. The candidate must have at least 5-10 years of team leadership in overseeing Bilateral /Syndication Loan Administration, Trade Finance, Remittance and Treasury Settlement functions.

Key Responsibilities

. Lead and manage daily settlement operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and adherence with Head Office policies and internal procedures.

. Oversee audit engagements and regulatory reviews including issue remediation of operations-related matters.

. Ability to optimize processes by developing, implementing and reviewing operational policies and procedures.

. Solid knowledge of operational risk management, regulatory requirements, and provide guidance to the team to ensure Departmental SOPs, and the Bank's policies and guidelines.

Key Requirements

. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field.

. Minimum 5 years of team leadership experience in Wholesales Banking Operations, with a strong hands-on experience in Bilateral/Syndication Loan Administration, Trade Finance, Remittance, and Treasury settlement.

. Familiar with MEPS+ and SWIFT operations is preferred.

. Proven ability to manage system and business process improvement initiatives.

. Ability to work independently while managing team performance.

. Fluent in both English and Mandarin to communicate with Head Office and Mandarin-speaking clients.
