Brief Introduction of Department and Role of Team:
Nursing Administration works with Nursing leadership to oversee a range of functions including education, professional development, operations, finance, strategy, technology and innovation, information technology, risk, quality, infection control and sustainability. The scope of coverage will be the Inpatient Wards.
Job scope and key responsibilities:
Nursing Admin Ops & IT Intern
A. IT Responsibilities
• Liaise, coordinate, and communicate deployment/maintenance of IT devices for use in clinical areas.
• Support supervisor in vendor management for IT projects.
• Assist supervisor in change management and training plans, including preparing infographics.
• Support supervisor in development of automation works in Nursing.
B. Ops Responsibilities
• Work closely with Operations team to deploy furniture used by patients to Nursing Inpatient Wards.
• Coordinate refurbishing plans for furniture with vendor
• Provision of operational support to Nursing Inpatient wards.
• Verifying and processing of vendor invoices, billing report and payment when necessary.
• Assist in operational follow-ups for sustainability initiatives
• Provide logistic arrangement for nursing meetings/trainings
• Participate and/or support the activities organized by Nursing Department
• Undertake any other tasks assigned by Nursing Department
Requirements
• IT savvy, able to use MS office
• Fast learner
• Good time management and multi-task
• Willingness to learn
• Able to communicate effectively
• Able to produce infographics using Canva is an advantage
