Operations Intern (Food Manufacturing)

This operations intern is here to help make things run smoother - by setting clear procedures, keeping communication simple, tracking and improving production data, ensuring inventory stays accurate, creating useful training resources, and lending a hand with reports and projects.

1. Documentation & Standardization

• Draft SOPs and simplified practice guides.
• Map production process flows per SKU.
• Compile machine specifications into a guidebook.

2. Data Collection & Analysis

• Record and analyse machine performance (capacity, efficiency, downtime).
• Collect process data (temperature, pressure, cycle times).
• Monitor yield, scrap, and waste.
• Conduct time studies and line balancing for productivity.

3. Inventory & Material Management

• Maintain stock cards for raw materials and finished goods.
• Monitor stock movement and support reconciliations.

4. Knowledge & Training

• Develop a Production Department guidebook (SOPs, flows, manuals).
• Prepare training and onboarding materials.

5. Ad-Hoc Support

• Assist with production reports and improvement projects.

We hope to find candidates who are comfortable working in Tuas as our office is located there. However, that it's conveniently close to Tuas Link MRT.
