Responsibilities will largely depend on the employee's capacities but include (or may include) :
. Expertise in multimodal transport (road, air, sea), heavy-lift planning, and yard operations.
. To ensure timely invoicing to customers
. Plan and coordinate logistics for project cargo including heavy lift and oversized shipments and review customer's freight requests and select appropriate carrier
. Prepare and verify shipping documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, export declarations).
. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and safety standards.
. Monitor cargo handling, loading/unloading, and secure transportation.
. Negotiate rates with carriers and vendors to optimize cost efficiency.
. Manage project logistics budgets and track expenses.
. Resolve operational issues promptly and implement contingency plans.
. Provide regular status updates and reports to management and clients.
. Ability to manage under pressure, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and deliver against tight schedules.
. Critical in maintaining continuity and minimizing non-productive time
. Any adhoc duties that assigned by Managers.
Requirement:
. Minimum Higer Nitec /Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or equivalent.
. 2 - 3 years of relevant working experience.
. Experience in freight forwarders & handling oversized cargoes
. Well verse with International Commercial Terms (INCOTERMS)
. Able to adapt to change of environmental policies and company policies
