Job scopes & Requirements:
- Knowledge of Import / Export procedures and documentation.
- Ability to prepare a full set of shipping documents for Bank negotiation.
- Manage the negotiation of the documents with Banks.
- Preparation of document instructions to shipping lines as well as for lodgements with Banks with customer supplied LC.
- Manage trade documentations for all trade deals conducted with overseas teammates and suppliers.
- Able to liaise with overseas office staff for operational tasks.
- Ability to liaise with shipping companies for shipping related matters.
- Issuing purchase orders to suppliers and invoices to customers.
- Experience in an administrative position and in a position requiring a high level of communication and coordination
- Understanding of import/export logistics and operations.
- Manage full spectrum of shipping documentation, invoice, packing list, LC negotiation, Cert of Origin, B/L
- Liaise with freight forwarders and suppliers on all shipping matters.
- Verify and submit shipping documents to the finance team for payment processing.
Other Requirements:
- Proficiency in MS Office (esp. Excel)
- Knowledge of other software/programs (a plus).
- Able to speak and write in Mandarin (a plus).
- Eye for details and meticulousness.
- Good team player and positive working attitude.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with the information acquired in the course of work.
