Job Summary

The Operations Director provides strategic leadership and oversight of all operational functions within the organization. This role is responsible for developing and executing operational strategies that drive efficiency, scalability, service excellence, and financial sustainability. The Operations Director ensures governance, performance accountability, and cross-departmental alignment while supporting the organization's long-term growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute operational strategies that align with corporate goals to drive organizational efficiency and scalability
  • Establish and maintain policies, governance frameworks, and standard operating procedures to ensure operational excellence and compliance
  • Lead and mentor the operations team by setting clear performance expectations and accountability standards to enhance team effectiveness
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase operational efficiency, service quality, and scalability across functions
  • Provide executive oversight of all on-site and off-site projects through operational leads to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
  • Establish, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management to track operational performance and inform decision-making
  • Identify operational risks and implement effective mitigation strategies to safeguard organizational objectives
  • Oversee operational budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation to optimize financial performance and service delivery
  • Align manpower planning with service demands and financial targets to ensure adequate staffing and cost efficiency
  • Collaborate with the Accounts Department to ensure billing accuracy, financial efficiency, and margin optimization
  • Manage vendor and partner relationships to ensure service reliability and cost-effectiveness
  • Oversee corporate accounts and strategic partnerships to support business growth and operational alignment
  • Govern the preparation of service agreements, quotations, pricing structures, and contractual documentation to ensure compliance and clarity
  • Collaborate with management to define and implement long-term operational direction that supports organizational growth
  • Support brand positioning through oversight of corporate decks, reports, and client deliverables to maintain consistent messaging and quality

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in operations management, including at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven track record of leading and scaling operational functions
  • Strong financial acumen with demonstrated experience in budgeting and performance management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
