Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Leadership

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for the Project Management, Application Engineering, and Production teams.

  • Ensure effective coordination between departments to support project delivery and customer requirements.

  • Establish operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.

2. Project Management Oversight

  • Oversee execution of all customer projects from order intake to final delivery.

  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and within budget.

  • Monitor project performance, risks, and resource allocation.

  • Implement best practices in project planning, reporting, and execution.

3. Application Engineering Management

  • Lead the Application Engineering team in developing technical solutions, product configurations, and system designs.

  • Ensure engineering support aligns with customer requirements and company standards.

  • Collaborate with Sales to provide technical expertise during bid and proposal stages.

4. Production & Manufacturing Oversight

  • Manage production planning and manufacturing operations.

  • Ensure production schedules meet project timelines and customer commitments.

  • Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and operational efficiency.

  • Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

5. Cross-Department Coordination

  • Strengthen collaboration between engineering, project management, procurement, supply chain, and service teams.

  • Resolve operational bottlenecks and improve workflow between departments.

6. Financial & Performance Management

  • Monitor departmental budgets and operational costs.

  • Track operational KPIs such as project margins, on-time delivery, production efficiency, and quality performance.

  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement.

7. Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and team leaders.

  • Build a high-performing operations team and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Support workforce planning and succession development.

8. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.

  • Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure proper documentation and governance in project and production processes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Management.

  • Minimum 12-15 years of experience in operations, engineering, or project management.

  • At least 5-8 years in a senior leadership role managing multiple departments.

  • Experience in engineering, power systems, manufacturing, or industrial equipment sectors preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of project management, engineering design, and production operations.
