Working Hours: 9AM to 6.30PM Monday to Thursday, and 9AM to 5.30PMFriday with 1 Hour meal break

About the Function

The Group Technology andOperations (T&O) Risk Governance & Assurance (TOGA) function, as afirst line of defense, works closely with T&O leadership to identify,assess, mitigate and manage risks and ensure the existence of appropriatecontrols. This team works across the T&O functions across the Group toensure transparency and understanding of operating issues, risks andopportunities, including the sound risk governance and risk oversight ofT&O activities. Also, the function monitors the industry, market andregulatory developments to anticipate changes and help ensure appropriatealignment of banking operations and technology risk management strategies andpolicies with potential impact assessment. Additionally, the team conductsindependent assurance reviews across the T&O functions across the Group toensure that key controls are adequately designed and are operating effectively.

Job Responsibilities

Collaboratingclosely with the Technology and Operations teams across the Group, thesuccessful candidate will support the Head of Operations Risk Governance, todrive first-line Operations risk governance activities and initiatives. Thiswill include, but not be limited to the following:

• Support the adherence by operations units, with the Bank's Operations Risk Management Policy and guidelines.
• Support in risk oversight and governance, through analysis and reporting of key risk issues/ trends, key risk indicators, and prepare materials to facilitate discussions during the regular governance committee meetings.
• Support on data analytics projects to effectively and efficiently identify risk issues and trends, to improve risk management efficiencies and capabilities.
• Support on training programs to foster strong risk culture and risk awareness within the Operations units. Develop effective and collaborative relationships and foster ongoing open lines of communication regarding governance and risk management across the division.
• Work closely with operations units and regional governance counterparts to ensure consistent governance across the Operations teams.
• Support other initiatives where required.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 4-5 years working experience with at least 2-3 years in any of these disciplines: operational/ enterprise risk management, audit, compliance, data analytics, preferably in a banking environment.
• A university degree in business, accounting, data analytics or any risk management related domain.
• Familiarity with internal controls over operational activities of a bank, and knowledge of retail and wholesale banking processes and products would be an added advantage.
• Good communication, presentation and influencing skills and able to manage stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
• Self-motivated, proactive, can-do attitude and strong team player working style.
• Consistency in following working instructions, quality control and meeting deadlines.
• Outstanding skills in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. This is necessary for the creation of engaging reports and presentations, for senior management, executives, and stakeholders.

Salary: Up to $5500 with 1 month completion bonus
