Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Operations Crew Member with a Class 3 or 4 driving license to join our dedicated team. This role plays a crucial part in supporting bereaved families and ensuring smooth, dignified funeral operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer comfort and assistance to bereaved families
- Collect and transport the deceased with professionalism and care
- Support family members throughout rites, rituals (all religions), and funeral processions
- Present eulogies (all religions) to family members on the funeral day
- Assist with ash collection and other related duties
- Transport flowers, backdrops, and logistics for wake setup
- Maintain the cleanliness and readiness of company vehicles, equipment, and facilities
- Uphold service excellence and quality control standards
- Project a positive and professional image at all times
- Resolve operational challenges effectively
- Perform other operational duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Possess a valid Class 3 and/or 4 Driving License as driving of hearse is required
- Due to job nature, working during wee hours, weekends & public holidays are required
- Basic computer literacy
- Capable of safely lifting, carrying, and handling coffins weighing from 80 kg.
- Conversant in Mandarin effectively as required during Chinese funeral rituals
