Operations & Billing Specialist, Transactional Liability

We are searching for a driven individual who can help us streamline daily operations to ensure efficiency for the International Transaction Liability Operations team with a focus on our teams across Asia – Pacific. The operations specialist should be comfortable communicating with people inside and outside of the organisation, able to work independently and manage time for a variety of tasks. The ideal candidate is a hard-working team player who has a strong ability to think outside the box with a sharp eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor day-to-day operations, requests/questions for servicing of accounts to ensure a smooth process.
• Maintain spreadsheets used to track invoicing, and subjectivity requirements to obtain issued policies.
• Support the brokers with tracking and maintaining accurate data on our CRM system.
• Correspond daily with clients, insurers, team members, and other colleagues throughout the company.
• Generate and distribute invoices for clients
• Verify billing information for accuracy
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies
• Review binding documents for specific items pertaining to the operational side of processes.
• Follow up with clients and insurers for required subjectivity documents needed for final policy issuance.
• Run redlines used to review final issued policies for accuracy for delivery to our clients.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Excellent organisational skills, including time management.
• Self-sufficiency and an ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and other applications used for operational tasks.
• 2-3 years of billing experience; experience supporting M&A insurance, transactional liability, transaction risk insurance, or other specialty insurance lines will be highly advantageous.
