The position
The Operations Assistant shall report to the Head of Operations. The Operations Assistant shall perform the administration and planning of all C-Leanship ROV services under the direction of the Head of Operations. This role requires initiative, a sense of urgency, the ability to make decisions and influence others without formal authority. There is also a need to be process-driven and demand for high quality, organised and repeatable results.
Authority
- Able to mobilise operational pilot teams and workboat to attend C-Leanship jobs
- Able to call All-Stop to any ROV operation or maintenance work if there is a clear and present danger to personnel and ROV system
Responsibilities
- Applying permits with the authorities for all C-Leanship operations
- Assisting Head of Operations in liaising with operational stakeholders encompassing but not limited to shipping agents, workboat owners, bunker barges, port authorities and subcontractors
- Preparing and modifying shift plan for operations team in consultation with Head of Operations, to ensure constant manpower availability to support ongoing operations
- Liaising with external parties and arranging any operational related trainings ensuring validity of certifications and passes of personnel
- Updating of operations management system
- Escalate to the Head of Operations for any discrepancies, vessel schedule clashes or any operational matters that might affect the jobs assigned to the local hub
- Assisting Head of Operations and other local stakeholders to ensure operational documentation e.g. procedures, risk assessments are continuously up to date for ISO audits
- Be consistently aware of, and adhere to, the company's safety management system (policies, safe working procedures and risk assessments)
- Take ownership of any assigned tasks, able to work in a dynamic environment and consistently deliver high quality work

- Carrying out other ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Head of Operations

Educational requirements & professional background
- Minimum diploma in maritime, business or engineering discipline
- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in related industry
- Excellent English skills, written and verbal
- Proficiency in written and spoken Korean would be advantageous to facilitate coordination with our Korea office.
Internal training requirements
- Understand the local maritime industry and associated processes
- Familiarisation of company operations management system
- Familiarisation of C-Leanship ROV operations and technical capabilities
- Safety related and operational risk management courses
