What you'll be spending your time on:
Operations & Projects
- Manage the end-to-end flow of trade data reporting to authorized trade repositories (e.g., DTCC), ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accordance with MAS reporting mandates.
- Support system updates and process improvements by working with relevant stakeholders, including product, and IT teams, such as CRS 2.0 implementation.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system configurations meet business and regulatory requirements with optimal UX.
Regulatory Reporting
- Extract and organise data from various sources to support the creation of regular regulatory reports across all jurisdictions where reporting obligations exist.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory reports in line with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and update the regulatory calendar, ensuring all reporting deadlines are met.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in regulations and reporting requirements.
Risk Management & Analysis
- Assist in the preparation of weekly risk reports, tracking key metrics such as market exposure, counterparty credit risk, and liquidity ratios.
- Support the risk team in conducting ad-hoc scenario analysis and stress tests to evaluate portfolio resilience under various market shocks.
- Ensure the consistency of data used for risk calculations and margin monitoring.
For this role you also have:
Education Requirements:
- Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
- Minimum 1-2 years professional experience.
- Numerical aptitude, detail oriented, and the ability to analyze and manage data effectively.
- Structured approach to tasks, proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- High quality verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) is advantageous.
Preferred Skills
- Candidates who have passed CMFAS exams (e.g., RES 2B, CM-SIP) are highly preferred.
