Job Description

A leading global financial institution is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Operations Analyst / Senior Analyst to join its Equities Operations team in Singapore. This role supports post-trade operations and client servicing within the cash equities business, with a focus on trade lifecycle management, operational risk control, and process improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders across Sales, Trading, Technology, Compliance, and Operations to deliver a seamless client experience and support business growth in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Trade Lifecycle & Operational Support

  • Support post-trade activities including trade allocation, pre-matching, reconciliation, and fails management to facilitate timely settlement of transactions
  • Assist in client onboarding and account maintenance processes to ensure operational readiness and a seamless trade lifecycle experience
  • Support Stock Connect / China Northbound trading operational processes and client servicing requirements

Client Service & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a key point of contact for client queries related to trade execution, settlement, and operational matters
  • Partner with internal teams to resolve trade issues, operational exceptions, and client requests in a timely manner
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

Risk Management & Controls

  • Perform operational controls and reviews to maintain accurate books and records
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Review and assess change requests to support a strong risk and control environment

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and operational scalability
  • Support automation initiatives and enhancements to straight-through processing (STP)
  • Participate in projects related to new products, market expansion, or process transformation initiatives

Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Banking, or related disciplines
  • Relevant experience in financial services operations, middle office, trade support, client onboarding, or equities operations will be advantageous
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Experience in process improvement, workflow automation, or operational transformation initiatives will be an advantage
