Client is a leading global investment bank. They are currently looking for a Operations Analyst, Settlements (Japanese Offshore) to join the team.

Your new role

• Provide consistently stellar operational support for derivative/swaps/cash products.
• Support the Sales and Trading Desks by investigating, resolving issues and enquiries.
• Utilize critical thinking/problem solving skills to provide timely resolutions to client issues and breaks.
• Work closely with wide range of stakeholders both within operations and outside of operations such as compliance, credit, sales, trading, legal, risk, technology.
• Exhibit proactivity to improve process and enhance controls to mitigate operational risk to the firm
• Strong individual contributor but must be an active team player to achieve collective goals.
• Manage ad-hoc projects and liaise with both internal/external counterparts in different regions

What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience in a similar role will lead to your success, as you will ideally have:

• Degree qualification is essential. Knowledge of financial markets with experience in Trade Support for equities derivative/swaps/cash products.
• Possesses understanding of Equity/Equity Derivatives Trade Life Cycle/Corporate Actions
• Bloomberg, Reuters, Corporate Actions knowledge preferable
• VBA, SQL, Macros, Alteryx skills preferable.
• Fluency in Japanese as this role will be fully covering the Japan market, stakeholders and counterparts.
