Key responsibilities

Oversee daily trade booking, position and P&L reconciliations, settlement issues, and corporate action events.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of trades, positions, cash balances, costs, and P&L attribution.
Manage all operational aspects across the trade lifecycle, from execution through settlement.
Liaise with counterparties, custodians, and prime brokers to onboard new business and resolve day-to-day operational issues.
Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
Design and implement automated solutions using VBA, SQL, and Python to streamline workflows and apply data management best practices.
Document processes, enhancements, and solutions to ensure effective knowledge transfer and team alignment.

Role requirements

Minimum 3 years of mid-office or operations experience, preferably within a buy-side environment (hedge funds, proprietary trading) or prime brokerage.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
Strong product knowledge across listed equities, ETFs, derivatives, and FX.
Familiarity with Asian securities markets and relevant regulatory frameworks is preferred.
Advanced Excel proficiency, with hands-on experience using VBA, SQL, and Python.
Proven experience driving process improvements and designing automated solutions, ideally in a trading environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational issues.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
