The role focused on drafting and managing legal confirmations for the FX and IR derivatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Legal Confirmation Drafting: Prepare and manage confirmations for Foreign Exchange (FX) and Interest Rate Derivatives transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Trading, Legal, Compliance, Technology, and Operations teams to resolve issues and deliver timely documentation.
-Risk Mitigation: Act as a subject matter expert to identify risks, strengthen controls, and ensure operational efficiency in documentation processes.
- Strategic Support: Assist the Asia FXIRP Drafting team in executing global initiatives while aligning with regional business needs.
- Process Improvement: Design and implement workflow enhancements leveraging Business Intelligence tools and automation.
- Global Consistency: Build relationships with peers across regions to ensure standardized documentation practices and knowledge sharing.
- Continuous Review: Regularly assess processes to meet expectations for timeliness, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline.
- Prior operations experience or internship experience.
- Strong attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to multitask in fast-paced environments.
- Collaborative and team-oriented, with effective problem-solving and judgment skills.
Preferred:
- Understanding of FX and Interest Rate markets, derivatives, and regulatory environment would be an added advantage.
- Experience with ISDA documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and ability to learn multiple systems quickly.
