Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-driven Operational Risk & Controls Coordinator to strengthen our control environment, formalise product governance processes, and support risk, audit, and compliance activities across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Drive structured product governance for new product launches and material changes
- Strengthen operational controls, including segregation of duties, maker-checker processes, and incident reporting frameworks
- Collaborate with Operations, Product, Technology, Compliance, Finance, and Risk teams to uphold governance standards
- Maintain and update risk registers, including tracking mitigation and remediation actions
- Ensure proper documentation, approvals, and go-live readiness processes are completed
- Support audits, including evidence preparation and remediation tracking
- Leverage AI and automation tools to enhance monitoring, reporting, and control effectiveness
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Banking, Information Systems or other relevant disciplines
- Minimum 4-8 years of experience in operational risk, internal controls, governance, compliance, or related fields
- Experience in fintech, payments, financial services, or other regulated industries
- Strong documentation discipline and sound understanding of risk and control frameworks
- Familiarity with audits, regulatory requirements, and structured change management processes
- Analytical, systems-oriented, and highly collaborative with strong stakeholder
