Operational Manager (Hybrid Remote & On-site)

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our swim school. This key leadership role ensures smooth class delivery, manages coach scheduling and performance, maintains high coaching and safety standards, and fosters excellent communication between coaches, parents, and team. The position is hybrid, combining on-site oversight with remote administrative work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily swim school operations to ensure classes run smoothly and efficiently

• Plan, manage, and adjust coach schedules to meet program and staffing needs

• Supervise and support swim coaches, including onboarding, coverage, and performance management

• Maintain high coaching quality and enforce safety standards across all programs

• Monitor lesson delivery and implement improvements to ensure consistent instructional excellence

• Serve as the primary point of contact between coaches, parents, and management

• Handle parent inquiries, concerns, and escalations professionally

• Coordinate on-site operations while managing administrative tasks remotely

• Maintain accurate records for staffing, scheduling, and operational activities

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a swim coach or in aquatics instruction, with strong understanding of swim program operations

• Familiarity with managing coaches, schedules, and day-to-day operations

• Strong leadership and team-management skills

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment

• Clear and professional communication skills with parents, staff, and management

• Experience with scheduling software and administrative tasks

• Ability to work in a hybrid role, balancing on-site and remote responsibilities
