Operational Excellence Specialist

About the Company:
Our client is a Swiss pharmaceutical based corporation that provides solutions to address the evolving needs of patients worldwide. Their main discoveries are development, manufacture and marketing of prescription and generic pharmaceutical products and eye care products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measuring and analyzing KPIs such as throughput time, efficiency, and cost savings.
- Leading strategic initiatives, including a motion time study across various functions.
- Proposing and implementing process improvements based on study findings.
- Supporting automation and digitalization efforts using tools like Python or Power BI.
Job responsibilities:
Business performance measurement
- Conduct time and motion study of different work processes to optimize work processes, improve resource utilization and efficiency
- Apply statistical methods to analyze data, determine root causes and propose action plan
- Support performance tracking of functions
- Apply appropriate digitalization tools wherever applicable
Strategic site projects
- Work within the organization at all levels utilizing a very hands-on approach for creating value and buy-in as a change agent
- Lead and drive OpEx projects execution within the time agreed time frame.
- Collaborate and communicate with all the related stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations
- Perform effective change management whenever applicable.
Simplification of site processes and systems
- Identify ways to reduce waste, maximize resources, and increase productivity
- Co-facilitate workshops to identify process improvement opportunities
- Apply appropriate digitalization tools wherever applicable
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience or exposure to Lean Six Sigma with Green Belt certification
- At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing/operations management experience
- Applied knowledge of time and motion study in manufacturing
- Experience in data visualization and reporting, with particular expertise in using Microsoft PowerBI to create and manage interactive dashboards
- Broad understanding of the principles and methods of medicine manufacture and GMP attained in a manufacturing environment
