JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Operation Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily operations of the company to ensure projects and services are executed efficiently, safely, and according to schedule. The role involves managing workers, monitoring site progress, maintaining communication with clients, and ensuring quality standards and safety compliance are consistently met.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise day-to-day site or operational activities to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion.
- Coordinate manpower deployment, materials, and equipment according to project requirements.
- Monitor work progress, quality, and safety performance at sites.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
- Report daily site progress and issues to the Operation/Project Manager.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Prepare documentation such as daily reports, timesheets, and material requests.
- Ensure all workers adhere to safety procedures and company policies.
- Provide on-site guidance, training, and motivation to team members.
- Support management in planning schedules, logistics, and cost control.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or Certificate in Engineering, Construction, Logistics, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in operations, site supervision, or fieldwork.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a team of workers and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) and environmental regulations.
- Familiar with site documentation and reporting procedures.
- Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and email communication).
- WSH Safety Supervisor Certificate / BCSS / bizSAFE Level 2 (advantage).
- Class 3 Driving Licence preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Full-time, site-based role.
- Working hours: As per project or shift schedule (may include weekends or public holidays).
- Work locations: Various project sites across Singapore.
