Operation Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Create, process, and manage purchase orders for raw materials, components, and services in accordance with procurement policies.

• Source, evaluate, negotiate with, and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.

• Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and coordinate with production planning to avoid stock shortages or excess inventory.

• Resolve purchasing and receiving discrepancies with the finance team, including invoices, packing lists, and receiving reports.

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including carrier scheduling, shipment tracking, preparation of shipping documentation, and final packing.

• Work closely with freight forwarders and thirdparty logistics providers to optimize transportation costs and delivery timelines.

• Ensure compliance with import and export regulations, customs requirements, and company policies, and maintain accurate shipping records.

• Oversee receiving activities, including unloading, inspection, staging, and movement of materials to warehouse locations.

• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct monthly physical counts, reconcile variances, and update inventory systems.

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support daily operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma in Business or other relevant tertiary qualification, with a minimum of three years of relevant working experience.

• Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, inventory control, and warehouse operations.

• Proficient in enterprise resource planning systems and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment.
