  • Linux System Administration experience minimum 5 years.
  • 3 Year work exp in WOG.
  • Manage Linux servers in an enterprise systems environment.
  • Responsible for Linux/UNIX security hardening in accordance with the CIS guidance.
  • Perform Linux/UNIX server takeover process and security hardening compliance verification processes.
  • Good Knowledge in Kubernaties, dockers and containers.
  • Good understanding/Execution knowledge in ansible playbooks.
  • Provide technical expertise in the area of Linux/UNIX security matters and work closely with Application Development team to establish and develop application access control matrix.
  • Granting and assignment of access privileges based on the approved access control matrix for Linux/UNIX platform.
  • Provide appropriate technical guidance and advisory on Linux/UNIX platform security matters.
  • Implementation and administration of System Access Control using SUDO on Linux/UNIX platform.
  • Minimum 3 years Experience in Cloud and WOG environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux system administration
  • Experience with Linux distributions (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS)
  • Shell scripting and automation
  • Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, NFS)
  • System monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Storage management (LVM, RAID)
  • Handle L2-level incidents, service requests, and escalations related to cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Monitor cloud environments for health, performance, and security using tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor.
  • Implement infrastructure changes based on change management policies.
  • Participate in cloud resource provisioning and automation using IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Apply patches, updates, and upgrades to cloud systems and services as needed.
  • Maintain documentation for standard operating procedures and troubleshooting steps.
  • Support DevOps and development teams during deployments and incident investigations.
  • Assist in cost optimization efforts by analyzing cloud usage and suggesting improvements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Cloud Engineer possess at least one of the following certifications (or equivalent):
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Professional;
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional;
  • Microsoft Certified Solution Expert Cloud Platform and Infra;
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Good understanding of networking, virtualization, DNS, and firewalls.
  • Proficient in using monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, ELK stack).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
