OPERATION MANAGER - RAIL PLANT AND EQUIPMENTS

1. Overall responsibility to spearhead all operations on projects pertaining to railroads new-build, maintenance, inspection and qualification activities from tender stage to successful completion

Responsible to identify, source and advice on the right equipment to purchase for specific work needs of the company

2. Responsible to train and certify identified personnel on the new equipment and for any necessary operation related duty

3. Be part of the tender team and to submit necessary support documents in a timely manner and hold discussions with relevant management/ departments before finalising and submitting of all tenders

4. Attend tender submission meetings, perform the required presentations on behalf of the organization, if required

Take responsibility to plan, execute, control, monitor and report to the Project Manager on daily operations, in a timely and structured manner

5. Report on meetings held with the client by submitting a copy of the meeting minutes to the Project Manager

6. Directly oversee the operations of all projects undertaken by the company and submit timely reports to the management/ project manager as and when required

7. Performs all duties in conformance to organization and departmental policies and procedures

8. Any other additional responsibility as defined by the Top Management at any given point of time

9. Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of special equipment/ vehicles purchased by the company

10. Responsible to ensure that all such equipment/ vehicles are in compliance to the regulations and controls in Singapore

11. Responsible to ensure that there is a continuity plan for the maintenance of such equipment/ vehicles by training and certifying personnel within the company to be competent to perform this duty independently.
