Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes
  • Develop, implement, and review SOPs in line with Singapore regulatory requirements
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, including guidelines from the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), workplace safety standards, and employment regulations
  • Manage operational budgets, cost control, and resource allocation to maintain profitability
  • Lead and manage a diverse workforce, including local and foreign employees
  • Handle manpower planning, scheduling, and workforce optimisation
  • Work closely with HR on hiring, onboarding, and compliance with work pass regulations
  • Monitor KPIs and prepare operational reports for senior management
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met
  • Ensure adherence to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards and risk management practices
  • Address operational issues, customer feedback, and service recovery promptly

Key Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably within Singapore
  • Proven experience managing operations in industries such as logistics, retail, F&B, or services
  • Experience managing multicultural teams in Singapore
  • Site M&E installation experience & HVAC knowledge
  • Trouble shooting ability

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Good understanding of Singapore employment laws and practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for reporting and analysis)
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms)
  • Familiarity with workforce management and scheduling tools
