Responsibilities
1. Daily Operations Management
- Oversee the full operations of the hot spring/bathhouse, spa, wellness areas, rooms, and F&B sections to ensure smooth and efficient daily running.
- Develop, implement, and optimize Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor key operational metrics (revenue, guest flow, complaints, manpower cost, consumables usage, etc.) and generate regular performance reports.
2. Guest Experience & Service Quality
- Ensure high-quality service standards across front office, bathhouse areas, SPA rooms, and customer service teams.
- Collect and analyze guest feedback to drive continuous improvement and enhance guest satisfaction and retention.
- Handle escalated guest complaints and manage urgent or unexpected situations professionally.
3. Team Leadership & Staff Training
- Lead and manage department supervisors (front office, housekeeping, bathhouse operations, F&B, spa/therapist management).
- Oversee staff recruitment, roster planning, performance evaluation, and incentive programs.
- Conduct regular training on service etiquette, hygiene standards, safety procedures, and operational workflows.
4. Cost Control & Inventory Management
- Manage operating expenses including manpower, utilities, consumables, and maintenance budgets.
- Oversee procurement, inventory control, and supplier management to ensure material availability and quality.
- Optimize resource utilization to maintain cost efficiency.
5. Safety, Hygiene & Compliance
- Ensure all safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards comply with Singapore's regulatory requirements (e.g., NEA, SCDF).
- Supervise water quality management, ventilation systems, pool maintenance, and overall facility cleanliness.
- Conduct regular safety checks, risk assessments, and emergency drills.
6. Marketing Support & Promotion Execution
- Collaborate with marketing teams to support promotional campaigns, membership programs, festive events, and customer engagement activities.
- Work with external partners for brand collaborations, wellness events, and community outreach.
7. Cross-Department Coordination & Communication
- Ensure strong communication between departments and align operational goals with corporate strategies.
- Liaise with headquarters or senior management to implement company policies and new initiatives.
8. Facility & Equipment Management
- Oversee engineering and maintenance teams to ensure all spa pools, saunas, HVAC, heating, water treatment systems, and equipment remain in safe working condition.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and follow up on urgent repairs.
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
- At least 10 years of operations management experience in hospitality, spa, wellness, resort, bathhouse, or service-driven industries.
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage multi-department teams.
- Excellent understanding of customer service standards and guest experience optimization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle complex operational challenges.
- Strong communication skills in English Mandarin is a plus for dealing with Chinese-speaking customers or vendors.
- Good knowledge of safety, hygiene, and compliance requirements in Singapore.
