Job Description

Operations Manager who is willing to take on a challenging and demanding role. The position requires someone who is prepared to work long hours when necessary and is comfortable managing our retail cum restaurant shop (2-in-1 shop retail with F&B). The role is hands-on, and you may be required to assist in supervising our kitchen operations as part of your responsibilities.

You must be adaptable to a fast-paced work environment, able to handle pressure, and committed to improving both our retail and restaurant operations. The job will also require working on weekends and public holidays. A strong sense of responsibility, independence, and teamwork is essential.

Part of the job involves addressing customer concerns, which calls for patience, professionalism, and effective communication. Candidates are expected to uphold company standards and deliver steady, dependable results.

Job Description & Requirements

. Ability to work under pressure

. Manage, oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with operations standards and procedures

. Plan and develop business strategy

. Manage food cost & manpower cost

. Conduct pre-operational and regular checks of the kitchen

. Check and mange inventory and order stock when necessary

. Drive operational efficiencies of the restaurant by providing operational leadership

. Ability to recruit and hire a team who can carry out the operations work properly

. Approval of payroll for outlet before sending to HR department for salary processing

. Ensure food served is consistent and of high quality

. Maintain a cleanliness and sanitary environment especially at the kitchen area

. 6 days work per week

. Orders and pager monitoring

. Knowledge in setting-up or managing a foodcourt is a plus but not mandatory

. Manage multiple outlets, lead teams to ensure that all outlets are being operated efficiently and effectively

. Aid the management team in setting up of new outlets including identification of location, conceptualization, business feasibility studies, procurement, hiring as well as setting up of operational procedure

. With sound financial management skill to ensure stores are profitable and stay within budget with high service standards

SKILLS REQUIRED:

. Proven food and beverage management experience

. Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)

. Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently

. Mastery in delegating multiple tasks

. Communication and leadership skills

. Strong in Digital Marketing

. Up to date with food and beverages trends and best practices

. Menu Creation - plan menu and develop new dishes to ensure the variation & quality of food

. Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets

. Guest-oriented and service-minded
