Working Location: Bedok (Required to travel across Singapore)
Working Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm (Overtime may be required based on operational needs)
Working Days: Monday - Sunday (5.5 working days, off day based on roster scheduling)
Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and hands-on Operation Assistant (Tentage Operations) to support and oversee daily tentage installation projects across Singapore. This role requires strong leadership, operational coordination skills, and the ability to manage on-site teams efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. On-Site Operations & Installation
- Conduct site surveys, mark and flag out installation areas.
- Plan tentage layout and check for underground utilities before setup.
- Lead crew in installation and dismantling of various tent structures (frame, tension, clear span).
- Ensure proper setup of lighting, flooring, electrical equipment, and related accessories.
- Perform quality checks to ensure structural integrity, proper tension, and cleanliness.
2. Crew Management & Leadership
- Supervise, guide, and motivate installation teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Implement daily work schedules and manage manpower allocation.
- Ensure timely completion of projects according to deadlines.
3. Logistics & Inventory Management
- Oversee loading and unloading of materials at warehouse and job sites.
- Ensure proper securing of materials during transportation.
- Conduct inventory checks upon dispatch and return.
- Perform minor repairs and ensure equipment is properly maintained and stored.
4. Customer Service & Administration
- Act as site-in-charge and liaise directly with clients.
- Resolve on-site issues professionally and promptly.
- Complete required documentation (site reports, delivery orders, damage reports).
- Provide regular updates to management regarding job progress and site matters.
Requirements
- Previous experience in tentage installation, rigging, construction, or related field preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with ability to manage foreign worker teams.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Possess valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence.
- Physically fit and willing to work outdoors.
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
