Operation Manager/Assistant Manager, Shopping Mall

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the mall's operational excellence, safety, and sustainability. This role is based at one of Singapore's largest malls.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall mall operations, including security, car park management, housekeeping, environmental hygiene, and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) compliance, ensuring full alignment with statutory and regulatory requirements.

• Drive vendor and contract management, including tender processes, contract negotiations, KPI monitoring, and performance reviews to ensure service excellence and cost optimisation.

• Champion sustainability and operational efficiency, implementing waste management initiatives, renewable practices, budget controls, and continuous improvement measures to enhance operational performance.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Facility Management, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in shopping mall or commercial property management.

• Strong knowledge of security operations, WSH regulations, environmental compliance, and building facilities management.

• Proven experience in tendering, vendor negotiations, and contract management.

• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
