Operation Executive (Post-fix/ BL/ Laytime/ Demurrage) PW32

Highlights

• Review of BL/ Calculate laytime, despatch & demurrage

• Actively tracking voyage docking

Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Commercial Manager and provide timely updates on voyage and operational matters.

• Convey voyage instructions accurately and promptly, including charter party details, to vessels, port agents, and other stakeholders.

• Oversee day-to-day operations of chartered vessels, ensuring efficient ship tracking, turnaround, and quick dispatch through close coordination with ship owners, agents, and shippers.

• Manage documentation processes, including Bills of Lading (B/L), letters of indemnity, and load/discharge port documents, ensuring proper filing and compliance.

• Calculate laytime for each voyage with supporting documentation.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of optimal operational modes for vessels operated by the company.

• Liaise with ship owners, shippers, port agents, receivers and internal departments to ensure smooth execution of charter parties and proper dissemination of information.

• Take initiative to act promptly and appropriately to safeguard the company's reputation.

• Assist with loading report compilation, compliance records, and other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, or related field or minimum 1 year of relevant shipping/post-fixture experience preferred.

• Strong communication and coordination skills with attention to detail.

• Proficiency in MS Office knowledge of laytime calculation is an advantage.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving.
