OPERATION EXECUTIVE

Key Responsibilities

. Operations & Logistics Management: Oversee daily receiving, warehousing, and distribution, including managing shipping documentation and coordinating with couriers/suppliers.

. Inventory Control: Perform cycle counts, reconcile stock, manage inventory data, and maintain 100% accuracy in stock records, including handling damages and returns.

. Process Optimization: Implement, improve, and document warehouse procedures, layout, and storage techniques to maximize space utilization.

. Safety & Security Compliance: Enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, conduct risk assessments, and maintain a safe, clean working environment.

. Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse personnel, including handlers and forklift drivers.

. Reporting: Prepare reports on KPIs, warehouse performance, and inventory levels.

Requirements

. Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain management.

. Skills: Proficient in inventory software/WMS, strong organizational skills, and technical knowledge of material handling equipment (MHE).

. Physical Ability: Ability to handle, lift, and move goods (often up to 30kg) and work in specific environments like cold rooms.

. Qualifications: Typically requires a Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent, or relevant experience.

Common Tasks

. Monitoring inventory levels and stock movement.

. Arranging cargo for local and international delivery.

. Handling documentation for incoming and outgoing goods.

Operating warehouse machinery (e.g., forklift, reach truck).
