Workforce Deployment & Planning Coordinate with Project Managers (PMs) and site Person-in-Charge (PICs) to plan and issue daily worker deployment schedules across different job sites. Consolidate manpower needs and ensure timely allocation of workers. Plan and arrange for additional external manpower from manpower supply companies, ensuring workers have the relevant skills. Validate and verify records for issuance of payment to manpower supply companies.
Logistics & Transportation Planning Consolidate requests from internal teams for logistics support. Plan and arrange daily transportation schedules for drivers (materials, tools, documents, samples, etc.) between office, job sites, suppliers, and clients. Ensure efficient routing and timely deliveries.
Material & Procurement Support Consolidate material requests from different projects and plan bulk purchasing for cost efficiency. Work with suppliers for quotations, purchasing, and delivery follow-up. Coordinate with storemen to manage warehouse inventory, forecast usage, and replenish consumable materials.
Operational Support Handle worker dormitory matters including allocation, maintenance, and compliance. Maintain office and warehouse compliance, including Method Statement & Risk Assessment (MSRA) and other safety documentation. Support management in streamlining operations, SOPs, and cost control. Ensure smooth day-to-day office-based operational support for construction projects.
Communication & Coordination Act as a central point of contact between office, site teams, suppliers, and drivers. Consolidate information from different groups to provide clear plans and updates to management.
Job Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Construction, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
At least 3 years experience in operations/logistics coordination, preferably in construction or related industries.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to consolidate information from multiple sources.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Good communication skills in English (Mandarin/Malay/Tamil is an advantage for liaising with workers/suppliers).
Knowledge of workplace safety practices, MSRA, and compliance requirements preferred.
Able to multi-task, plan ahead, and work independently in a fast-paced SME environment.
