Operation Analyst (Banking, 1-year renewable contract)

Key Responsibilities

• Support the administration and maintenance of cryptographic keys, digital certificates, and related security infrastructure in accordance with established security standards and procedures.
• Administer and support the end-to-end SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle, including CSR generation, certificate issuance, renewal, deployment, and revocation.
• Support the issuance, renewal, deployment, and revocation of digital certificates across supported platforms and environments.
• Assist with the management and maintenance of encryption technologies, cryptographic solutions, and key management processes.
• Support Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), key management systems, and enterprise data protection solutions.
• Apply appropriate encryption methodologies and security controls to protect sensitive data and systems.
• Support certificate and cryptographic key-related activities, ensuring accurate records, documentation, and compliance with established procedures.
• Monitor and maintain security-related configurations across Linux, AIX, and Windows environments.
• Work with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external parties to resolve certificate, encryption, and key management issues.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for certificates, keys, security configurations, and related administrative activities.
• Provide support for security administration activities outside normal working hours when required, including weekends and scheduled late-night maintenance windows.

Key Requirements

• Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, cryptography, certificate management, security operations, or a related field.
• Experience in data encryption, cryptographic technologies, and key management practices.
• Good understanding of encryption methodologies, security controls, and industry best practices for data protection.
• Knowledge of cryptographic principles, digital certificates, and security protocols such as TLS and SSH.
• Experience with SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management, including CSR generation, certificate issuance, renewal, deployment, and revocation.
• Exposure to Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), key management systems, or enterprise data protection solutions is preferred.
• Experience working with Red Hat Linux, AIX, and/or Windows operating systems.
• Exposure to Splunk or other security monitoring/logging platforms is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a process-oriented approach and strong attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and professionally.
• Strong teamwork and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, vendors, and external parties.
• Good administrative, record-keeping, and technical documentation skills.
• Experience in the financial services or banking industry is preferred.
• Willingness to support security administration activities outside normal working hours, including weekends and scheduled maintenance windows.
