An Online Sales Channel Manager in the grocery industry is responsible for driving sales, performance, and customer engagement across digital platforms such as e-commerce websites, mobile apps, marketplaces (e.g., RedMart, Shopee, Lazada), and quick-commerce platforms (e.g., GrabMart, Foodpanda Mart).
The role ensures product availability, online visibility, pricing accuracy, and promotional effectiveness to grow online revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage grocery listings across all online sales channels (marketplaces + in-house e-commerce).
- Ensure product availability, correct pricing, and accurate content (titles, descriptions, photos).
- Plan and execute online promotions, bundles, and flash sales.
- Analyze sales performance, conversions, and competitor pricing.
- Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse teams, and logistics for stock and delivery accuracy.
- Improve online customer experience, ratings, and reviews.
- Monitor platform algorithms and optimize listings for higher visibility.
- Collaborate with marketing teams for digital ads and campaigns.
- Lead and mentor e-commerce coordinators or channel executives.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of e-commerce and online marketplaces.
- Experience in merchandising, category management, or digital sales.
- Excellent analytical skills (pricing, conversion rates, competitor tracking).
