Job Description

We are partnering with a well-established multinational organization to identify a hands-on IT Support Specialist to join their Singapore-based team. This role offers a dynamic environment where you will support both end-user computing and local infrastructure operations, playing a key role in maintaining seamless IT services across the office and data centre.

Key Responsibilities

End-User / Desk-Side Support

  • Provide first-line local and second-line regional technical support for desktop and office IT issues, including troubleshooting, resolution, and escalation where required.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain Windows desktop environments in accordance with global IT standards, including hardware, software, patching, and system health monitoring.
  • Manage user accounts and support onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and timely issue resolution.
  • Support general office IT and facilities-related systems where required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of IT systems and processes within your scope of responsibility.

Data Centre Operations (Local)

  • Support day-to-day operations of the local office and Singapore-based data centre environment.
  • Coordinate deliveries, perform basic server installations, patch cabling, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Ensure all activities are aligned with global policies, procedures, and compliance standards.

IT Infrastructure & Asset Management

  • Maintain and track inventory of IT hardware and software assets.
  • Assist in ensuring system availability, reliability, and compliance across the environment.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in IT support, ideally within a corporate or multinational environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Prior exposure to data centre operations or infrastructure support is essential.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, especially in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills, particularly in asset and inventory management.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with confidence in engaging stakeholders across all levels.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive and adaptable attitude.
