Onboarding Service Management & MI Reporting Specialist

Group Control brings the following critical teams together under one management umbrella: Chief Controls Office (CCO), Chief Security Office (CSO), KYC and Financial Crime Operations, and Fraud Strategy. The activities of these teams are essential in strengthening the client organisation's internal controls against the backdrop of an environment where cyber, fraud, financial crime and security threats continue to intensify across these increasingly linked domains.

About Wholesale Client Onboarding and Group Financial Crime Operations

Wholesale Client Onboarding (WCOB) aims to onboard their clients, new and existing, as fast as possible with the best client experience possible, continually improving these core benchmarks through centralisation and standardisation of their processes, and strategic investment in their people and technology. Through client data maintenance the client organisation is building out a group wide utility to deliver a consistent view of their clients across all the businesses they interact through, ensuring they hold the correct KYC information for them whilst minimising unnecessary onerous documentation requests.

Overall Purpose of the role

To support APAC WCOB's decision-making processes by providing timely, accurate, and insightful information through designing, developing, and maintaining management reports, presentation decks and dashboards that effectively communicate Service Levels, Performance Measurements and trends across various Onboarding teams.

Key Accountabilities

  • Prepare reports and presentation decks to present at relevant Service, Governance and Control forums
  • Collaborate with SMEs to obtain required data and qualitative commentary for regular submissions to relevant forums
  • Collaborate with SMEs for identification and analysis of business requirements for any new reporting requirements
  • Work with Data Analytics team to design and develop comprehensive reports, and dashboards as required by APAC WCOB Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
  • Serve as main Point of Contact for Service-related business needs, reporting or data issues, and work with SMEs to provide effective resolutions
  • Development of robust processes & controls for collating input data & seeking signoffs as required
  • Engagement with stakeholders as needed to ensure up to date data is incorporated into reporting

Stakeholder Management and Leadership

  • Drive continuous improvement of Service execution in partnership with APAC Change and SMEs
  • Stay abreast of all developments and impacts to Services across Global and APAC regions arising from Compliance, Regulatory, Legal and Business requirements and demand
  • Communicate emerging impacts, risks and issues to relevant internal stakeholders across Operations, external functional partners and ensure effective escalation and resolution of blockers

Decision-making and Problem Solving

  • Work with Data Analytics and Tech partners to deliver new changes and/or fixes to Reports and MI required by SMEs
  • Participate in solution discussion, testing and validation of requested report changes and/or data fixes
  • Ensure requested changes and/or fixes are executed efficiently, effectively and timely
  • Provide communication of delivery status to relevant stakeholders

Risk and Control Objective

  • Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal client organisation's Policies and Policy Standards.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience in Service Delivery and Data Management or in a similar role within banking or financial services
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
  • Data analysis and problem-solving
  • Ability to manage and engage stakeholders at a senior level including communication and presentation skills

Work Arrangement - Onsite/Structured hybrid role:

Colleagues who perform onsite roles will spend four or five days a week working onsite, depending on the requirements of their role and business area. Please discuss the working pattern requirements for the role you are applying for with the hiring manager. Please note that as we continue to embed a hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of the client organisation's business.
