Onboarding Lead - Data/Platform/PMO - 6 months to perm - SGDOpen

Morgan McKinley is hiring an Onboarding Lead to guide business areas in adopting Data Mesh as a core data solution. The role involves providing end-to-end onboarding support, ensuring alignment with group standards, best practices, and data models, and offering ongoing post-implementation support. The Onboarding Lead will also act as a governance liaison and collaborate with Data Mesh IT and architecture teams to deliver seamless services for new and existing tenants.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Manager, Developers, Producers, and Consumers to gather and align requirements.
• Support platform governance, roadmap, and reporting activities.
• Conduct business and system analysis, producing high-quality documentation (use cases, process maps, operating models, BRDs, test/migration plans).
• Perform large-scale data analysis to validate logic, identify issues, and enforce governance (e.g., data dictionaries, data visas, DSS).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with group standards, best practices, and regulatory/compliance requirements.
• Identify risks, resolve conflicts, and propose continuous improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within large-scale projects/programs.
• Strong background in large-scale data analysis and data governance enforcement.
• Proficiency with analysis and visualization tools (Excel, SQL, Visio, modeling techniques).
• Experience working with senior business users, product, and operations teams.
• Knowledge of Asset Management, Custody, or Fund Services industries and related business processes.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills with ability to work under pressure.
• Strategic, detail-oriented mindset with a structured approach to analysis and delivery.
