Officer / Senior Officer, Organizational Risk

About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented risk professional to join our Organizational Risk Management team. In this role, you will oversee key risk areas including Third Party Risk Management (TPRM), Business Continuity Management (BCM), Operational Risk, and governance processes. You will work closely with business units and management to identify, assess, and mitigate risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Third Party Risk Management (TPRM), Outsourcing & Environmental Risk

• Review and update outsourcing policies, procedures, and registers to ensure compliance with MAS Outsourcing Guidelines
• Facilitate and support outsourcing processes, including consolidation of outsourcing reports to MAS
• Maintain and enhance the Environmental Risk Management (EnRM) framework in coordination with relevant departments

2. Business Continuity Management (BCM)

• Review and maintain the BCM framework to ensure regulatory compliance
• Facilitate and consolidate BIA/BCP results from business units
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct BCP tests, including call tree exercises

3. Organizational & Operational Risk Management

• Develop, review, and maintain risk assessment tools
• Enhance the effectiveness of the Organizational Risk Management framework
• Consolidate Organizational Risk Register and report to senior management
• Support Residual Risk Assessments and work with business units to identify risks and controls
• Identify operational risk gaps and work with units to implement mitigation measures
• Organize and facilitate Risk Committee and Operational Risk Committee meetings

4. Branch Self Audit (BSA), Control Self-Assessment (CSA) & Governance

• Manage Branch Self Audit and Control Self-Assessment (CSA) activities
• Ensure policies, practice guides, and procedures are reviewed and updated regularly

5. New Product / Business Review

• Facilitate and support the New Product Committee in reviewing new products or business initiatives

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in organizational/operational risk management within a financial institution
• Hands-on experience in outsourcing and BCP management
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders and escalate issues effectively
• Basic understanding of financial markets and risk processes
• Good understanding of risk management processes and implementing controls
