We're Hiring: Security Officer
Our members, guests, and colleagues are at the heart of everything we do. As a Security Officer, you will play an important role in ensuring our Club remains safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone. Beyond ensuring security, you will also be part of creating positive experiences for those who come through our entrances each day.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out day-to-day security duties across the Club.
- Ensure members, guests, and staff comply with Club Rules and Policies.
- Manage access control at main entrances and other key duty points.
- Provide warm, professional customer service to all members, guests, and visitors.
- Conduct staff and membership checks when required.
- Respond quickly and calmly to emergencies (e.g. fire alarms, first aid situations).
- Patrol Club premises and reports any irregularities or safety concerns.
- Monitor and maintain smooth traffic flow within car parks and driveway areas.
- Record and update all incidents in the security occurrence book.
- Work closely with your team and support supervisors in daily operations.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management to ensure the safety and smooth running of the Club.
Requirements
- Minimum secondary education with at least 2 years of relevant security experience.
- Valid Security Licence and completed WSQ RTT (mandatory).
- Comfortable with desk duties and basic computer use.
- Prior training in CERT and First Aid (AED) will be an advantage.
- A positive attitude and good service skills.
- Able to work on rotating shifts, night duties, including weekends and public holidays.
