Raffles Girls School is hiring for an Officer, Information Technology to support key functions, including application management, user and asset management, project management and solution engineering. You will be responsible for providing daily ICT support and guidance to staff and students, facilitating the implementation of ICT plans with various stakeholders and establishing overall maintenance of school applications.
Key Responsibilities
Application Management
- Establish reliable operations management and oversight on the entire application system including:
- Application software, system software and licenses/subscription.
- Operating System, Server/Computer, Virtualization, Storage, Security and Backup.
User & Asset Management
- Develop proper management and oversight of user accounts, access permissions and IT asset inventory including:
- User identity and access management (e.g. directory services and account provisioning).
- Access rights and permissions for systems, applications and shared resources.
- Inventory tracking of IT equipment, software licenses and assigned assets.
Project Management
- Align desired project outcomes to business objectives within various parameters.
- Deploy appropriate project management methodology and tools for the project implementation and maintenance.
- Ensure project risks are addressed and comply with IT governance framework including security and resilience.
Solution Engineering
- Design system architecture and application architecture solutions, including security and data design, resiliency, performance, reusability, product competency and programming skills.
- Review application infrastructure architecture for application systems that are related to third party software libraries and middleware.
- Assist in mapping of the service/business/functional requirements to solution/application system/technical requirements.
- Maintain consistency across design, development and implementation to ensure adherence to overall system and application architecture.
Requirements
- Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent field of study.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), IT infrastructure (Servers, LAN, etc).
- Fresh graduates with outstanding portfolios are welcome to apply.
