Job Description

Our Company looking for office support assistant in Logistics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying accuracy of orders against invoices and packing lists.
  • Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely transport of goods.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by updating databases and conducting regular stock counts.
  • Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs forms, and other necessary paperwork.
  • Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to resolve shipping discrepancies or delays.
  • Track the status of shipments and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse or storage area for optimal efficiency and safety standards.

Work Environment

Logistics Assistants typically work in a dynamic environment that combines office-based tasks with time spent in warehouses, distribution centers, or shipping docks. The work pace is often fast, driven by tight deadlines and fluctuating shipment volumes. Collaboration is constant, involving communication with truck drivers, warehouse staff, suppliers, and customer service teams. Most roles are full-time, Monday to Friday, but some positions may require occasional evening or weekend work to manage urgent shipments or inventory cycles.
