[What the role is]
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join the department as a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager (Timetabling & Data Management). The successful candidate will support data management, analytics, and reporting functions, as well as the administration of timetabling and module selection related operations.[What you will be working on]
Key tasks will include the following:
. Liaise with Schools and Centres on academic administration matters (such as attendance, lessons, timetabling and module selection related matters).
. Support the setup and maintenance of lesson and timetable information in relevant systems.
. Administer timetabling, module selection and related operational activities
. Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new system or system enhancements, validate system outputs and data accuracy, and work with stakeholders to resolve issues.
. Perform timetabling of lessons, taking into account the required considerations, and optimisation of the timetables
. Review processes and procedures, and recommend improvements to enhance usability, reliability, and efficiency.
. Manage and respond to data requests from internal and external stakeholders accurately and in a timely manner.
. Analyse large datasets to identify trends and insights to support in planning and decision-making.
. Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports using data visualisation tools (such as Power BI).
. Automate recurring data requests and analytical processes to improve efficiency and minimise errors.
. Support process improvements and data integration across functional areas (e.g. timetable, assessment)
[What we are looking for]
. Prior relevant work experience in an educational institution would be advantageous.
. Experience in applying optimisation techniques
. Meticulous with a keen eye for detail, and understands the need for data accuracy
. Excellent communication skills (both spoken and written) and interpersonal skills
. Strong planning and organising skills, with ability to work within tight timelines
. Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently as well as in a team
. Ability to use systems with ease
. IT savvy and proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, including Power Automate and Power BI
