As Assistant Director in the Office of Planning, you will be at the heart of driving transformation influencing strategy, ensuring alignment with long-term goals, and helping RP remains innovative and future-ready. [What you will be working on]

Strategic Leadership

  • Facilitate and influence RP's vision and strategy map, ensuring coherence across all functions.
  • Drive corporate planning processes to translate strategies into actionable workplans.
  • Drive organisation-wide strategic reviews to enhance systems, processes, and performance.
  • Track and report RP's performance to ensure oversight of the RP's progress and areas for improvement

Innovation & Foresight

  • Conduct horizon scanning to identify both local and global trends (e.g., technology, youth-related issues) impacting RP.
  • Provide thought leadership and policy insights to support decision-making at senior levels.
  • Lead sense-making activities through surveys, focus group discussions, and data analysis.
  • Strengthen partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to co-create solutions.

Organisation Development

  • Champion change management efforts to support transformation and adaptability.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and stakeholder-centricity across RP.

[What we are looking for]

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-looking leader with the following attributes:

Qualifications & Experience

  • A recognised degree. Professional qualification in Organisational Development or related disciplines will be considered an advantage.
  • At least 7 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the Public Service or large organisations.
  • Prior experience in corporate planning, innovation, and organisational development is highly valued.

  • Meticulous, self-motivated, collaborative and results-oriented.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage change, and foster innovation.

  • Resilience and adaptability, with the proven ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver outcomes in complex, evolving environments with multiple stakeholders.
