Office of Entrepreneurship Development - Deputy Manager/Manager
[What you will be working on]
You will support the institution's efforts to strengthen a vibrant innovation and entrepreneurship (I&E) ecosystem. The role focuses on developing partnerships, curating overseas learning experiences, and enabling learner entrepreneurs and startups to access regional markets, networks and resources.
- Drive and expand regional and international innovation and entrepreneurship (I&E) initiatives, including overseas learning experiences for learner entrepreneurs.
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships with international I&E ecosystem players to facilitate regional market access opportunities for RP startups, and seed global startups.
- Facilitate regional market access opportunities for startups, including pilots and collaborations.
- Develop and manage partnerships with trade media and global ecosystem platforms to garner greater support and awareness.
- Coordinate and curate overseas learning experiences with academic schools, as well as internal and external stakeholders.
- Engage and nurture ecosystem partners to support mentoring, validation and capability building for learner entrepreneurs and startups.
- Review and manage startup funding and resources, mentor and provide guidance to startups on business development and investment readiness.
- Contribute inputs to institutional communications by identifying I&E success stories and highlights.
- Support other department-led I&E programmes and events.
[What we are looking for]
- Relevant qualifications in business, entrepreneurship, innovation or a related field.
- At least 58 years of relevant experience in startup ecosystems, partnerships or programme management.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, coordination, programme implementation and communication skills.
- Experience working with startups or applied learning initiatives is an advantage.
