Roles & Responsibilities

About The Role

Opera is seeking an Office Manager / HR Administrator to support day-to-day office operations and provide administrative support across human resources activities in Singapore.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while partnering closely with Corporate HR, local management, and external service providers.

Key Responsibilities

Office Management & Vendor Coordination

  • Oversee daily office operations, including facilities, workspace organisation, equipment, and office supplies
  • Coordinate with local vendors and service providers, including payroll and benefits administrators, in line with company policies

Human Resources Support

  • Provide administrative support for HR activities such as onboarding, offboarding, employee documentation, payroll, and benefits administration
  • Support employment-related administrative processes (e.g. Employment Passes, Dependant Passes, employment contracts) in coordination with Corporate HR and external vendors, in compliance with Singapore regulations

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Support a safe and compliant office environment in line with local workplace safety requirements and company policies

Events & Engagement

  • Coordinate internal meetings, employee events, and local engagement activities

Internal Communication

  • Act as a point of contact for general employee enquiries and support effective communication between employees, local management, and Corporate HR

Office Budget & Administration

  • Support office budget tracking, expense administration, recruitment-related costs, and vendor invoicing in accordance with internal controls

Job Requirements

  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Experience in an Office Manager, HR Administrator, or similar administrative role
  • Familiarity with Singapore employment administration is an advantage
  • Strong organisational, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Jira, or similar workplace tools
  • Experience coordinating with local vendors and service providers
  • Eligibility to lawfully access Singpass or relevant government systems for employment-related administrative processes
