The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Office Manager to join and lead our team in Jakarta, Indonesia. This is a full-time, on-site role that offers a unique opportunity to be the central pillar of our office operations, providing crucial support to our growing team. You will be responsible for overseeing all daily office functions, including finance, human resources, and procurement, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities
As our Office Manager, you will manage a diverse range of functions, including:
Finance:
- Oversee daily financial operations, including journal entries, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, fixed assets, and budgeting.
- Manage financial accounting and reporting, ensuring all processes comply with Indonesian policies and statutory regulations.
- Prepare financial statements, manage cash flow forecasting, and coordinate annual audits.
- Liaise with bankers, auditors, and other stakeholders to support daily operations.
- Submit monthly payroll and financial reports to our head office in Singapore.
Human Resources:
- Manage the full spectrum of HR functions, from recruitment and onboarding to offboarding and orientation.
- Handle the application and processing of work passes for foreign workers.
- Manage and process payroll, ensuring full compliance with local employment laws and tax obligations.
- Support the twice-annual performance appraisal process.
- Assist in processing all relevant documents for expatriate personnel.
- Monitor and manage staff attendance, leave, and benefits.
Procurement:
- Lead the overall procurement process, including sourcing and negotiating with suppliers.
- Conduct landed cost evaluations to ensure we always secure competitive pricing.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A bachelors degree in business administration, Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably within the F&B industry.
- Excellent knowledge of Indonesian employment legislation, regulations, and tax obligations.
- Proven experience in Human Resources and Finance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using office software and tools (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Office).
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively as a key member of our team.
