Energetix Pte Ltd is a specialist solar PV system integrator. We design, engineer, install, and maintain solar photovoltaic systems for commercial and industrial building owners, solar power investors, and utility companies. The O&M Engineer is responsible for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of all PV systems in our portfolio. He/she shall maintain high system performance standards and promptly address any faults to minimise downtime. The role also includes contributions to customer care, communications design, and contractual matters, aligning with the broader objectives of the organisation.
In addition, the O&M Engineer is expected to adhere to both local and international solar O&M standards, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements. He/she should actively identify and integrate technological advancements to enhance the O&M scope, optimise system performance, and reduce downtime.
The O&M Engineer will:
. Conduct detailed diagnostics and troubleshooting for PV system performance issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
. Monitor PV systems and respond to faults and breakdowns.
. Analyse operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, or potential risks to system performance.
. Perform, supervise, and guide technicians during maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting activities.
. Record faults, alarms, and maintenance actions in the company's internal tracking system.
. Prepare comprehensive maintenance and performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
. Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
. Ensure compliance with local and international solar O&M standards such as SS601, IEC62446 and IEC61724.
. Ensure compliance with safety standards(ISO45001) and quality management protocols (ISO9001) during all on-siteactivities.
. Degree or Diploma in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Renewable Energy.
. At least 1 year of relevant experience in Solar PV or electrical systems.
. Strong knowledge of PV systems, inverters, and related equipment.
. Physically fit and capable of performing tasks, including working at heights.
. Experience with SCADA systems and performance monitoring tools is a plus.
. Possess a class 3 or 3A license is a plus.
. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
