Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage Nutanix clusters (AHV, AOS, Prism) across multiple environments (production, staging, development).
- Monitor and optimize system performance, capacity planning, and ensure high availability.
- Manage storage configurations and ensure data protection and disaster recovery solutions are in place.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues within Nutanix HCI and related virtualization infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain automation scripts for system deployment and monitoring.
- Work with vendors and support teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
- Participate in on-call support rotation as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 2 years focused on Nutanix HCI.
- Hands-on experience with Nutanix AOS, AHV, Prism Central/Element, and Nutanix Files/Objects.
- Strong understanding of virtualization concepts and technologies (AHV, VMware, Hyper-V).
- Solid knowledge of networking, storage, and data protection concepts.
- Proficient with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prism, Splunk, Zabbix, Nagios).
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery tools (e.g., Veeam, HYCU).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) or higher certification.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
- Knowledge of security best practices in virtualization and infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible or Terraform.
