Job Description
Job Summary
Lead the deployment, configuration, and administration of Nutanix clusters. Plan and execute infrastructure expansion, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions. Perform VM migrations and troubleshoot system issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and administer Nutanix clusters to ensure stable and efficient infrastructure operations
- Plan and implement infrastructure expansion projects to support business growth and scalability
- Design and execute disaster recovery (DR) and high-availability (HA) solutions to maintain system resilience
- Perform virtual machine (VM) migrations between VMware ESXi and Nutanix AHV to optimize resource utilization
- Monitor system performance continuously and troubleshoot issues using root cause analysis to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver infrastructure projects aligned with organizational goals
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience in infrastructure, virtualization, or data center operations
- Proven experience managing enterprise virtualization and hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) environments
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Hands-on experience deploying, managing, and optimizing Nutanix environments
- Experience with VMware ESXi and Nutanix AHV virtualization platforms
- Knowledge of disaster recovery, backup, and high-availability solutions applied in enterprise settings
- Nutanix certifications (NCP/NCX)
- Experience scripting and automating tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Familiarity with cloud computing, storage, networking, and hybrid infrastructure architectures
