Job Title: Nurse Manager (IVF & Operating Theatre)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Manager to lead nursing operations in a private fertility clinic setting. This role focuses on IVF/ART services and minor surgical procedures, ensuring compliance with Singapore healthcare regulations, delivering exceptional patient-cantered care, and maintaining operational excellence in a highly specialized environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Clinical Leadership (IVF-Focused)
- Lead and supervise nursing teams supporting IVF/ART procedures, including ovarian stimulation, oocyte retrieval, embryo transfer, and cryopreservation cycles
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and best practices in fertility care
- Work closely with fertility specialists, embryologists, and allied health professionals
2. Regulatory Compliance & Licensing
- Ensure compliance with:
Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) standards and Code of Ethics
Ministry of Health (MOH) regulations, including licensing requirements
Maintain proper documentation for audits, inspections, and licensing renewals
- Ensure all nursing staff hold valid SNB registration and Practising Certificates
3. Clinical Operations
- Oversee daily clinic operations, including IVF cycle coordination and minor OT procedures (e.g., egg retrievals)
- Ensure proper patient flow, scheduling, and coordination of multidisciplinary services
- Maintain readiness of procedure rooms, medical equipment, and emergency protocols
4. Patient Experience & Care Coordination
- Deliver high-touch, personalized care in a private clinic setting
- Provide patient education on fertility treatments, medications, and procedures
- Support patients emotionally throughout fertility journeys
- Handle patient feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally
5. Quality Assurance & Risk Management
- Implement quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits
- Ensure strict infection control, medication safety, and procedural safety standards
- Monitor and report clinical incidents in line with MOH requirements
6. Resource & Business Operations
- Oversee inventory, procurement, and cost control for clinical supplies
- Support clinic management in achieving operational efficiency and service excellence
- Contribute to strategic planning and service expansion initiatives
Requirements:
Education & Licensing
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Registered Nurse with valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) registration
- Valid SNB Practising Certificate
Experience
- Minimum 5-8 years of nursing experience, including:
- IVF /Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) experience (essential). Operating Theatre or procedural/surgical experienceAt least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
